Thank you to Salinas sponsors-- JRG, Pacific Valley Bank, and Hayashi Wayland.  And the most important thank you goes to our sole San Jose sponsor, TJ Rodgers, founder of Close de la Tech, who made an UNBELIEVEABLY generous contribution towards the event and our capital campaign.  More details to come on how his contribution is going to help Coastal Kids Home Care purchase a new building for physical and mental health for medically fragile children and their families for year to come.

September 12, 2020--What an incredible day.  "Thank you" doesn't even begin to cover it.  Each year, it is difficult for our sickest children to attend our events because of their health conditions. This year, we brought the event TO THEM. In the midst of a global pandemic, unhealthy air from historically bad wildfires and widespread economic uncertainty, Coastal Kids Home Care and a community of supporters came together to put on a Cruisin' for Coastal Kids Home Care parade. Led by police vehicles, our parades of classic cars, fire engines, antiques, and trucks all wearing masks that said, “Cruisin’ for Coastal Kids,” drove by the homes of some of the most vulnerable kids in Salinas and the Bay Area. It was an incredibly special day, and we are so thankful to everyone who made it happen!

Thank you to PRxDigital for helping us organize the event.  Thank you to all the vehicles who participated including Granite Rock, UPS, Auto Care Towing, Salinas City School District, Don Chapin Co., Republic Services, San Jose Fire Dept., Partnership for Children, Hidden Hills Ranch, AND SO MANY MORE!  Thank you also to Ronnie Ogas and all the individuals (150+) who brought out their unique and classic cars.  Crazy big thank you to CHP and San Jose PD for helping direct traffic to keep the parades together.  Also want to give a shoutout to Beat45 for streaming LIVE and giving shoutouts to all the Coastal Kids children involved in the parade and making it that much more special.  Finally, we want to thank our very important sponsors who will help us continue to bring our much-needed services to children like those visited in the parade.
