Every grief experience is different, but you are not in this alone.

Children’s + Teens Grief and Bereavement
Children’s grief is unique; it continues to change as kids and teens grow and develop. It needs a voice at all stages so a bereaved child can fully integrate their loss. If your child is experiencing grief and needs immediate help please review the information above and contact our staff at 800-214-5439. Good Grief for Kids and Teens groups and activities will offer a developmentally appropriate space to meet them where they are in their grief journey and help them connect to other kids who are also on that journey.

"If I didn't have counseling, I don't think I would want to talk about my grandma because it would be to sad, I wouldn't want to make my mom cry. Now I know that I can, it is still sometimes sad talking about my grandma, but it has also made it easier to talk about her. I feel like me and my mom can miss her together and talk about her and I don't feel alone in my sadness of missing my grandma. We always talk about her and we try to guess what my grandma would say to something we did, sometimes my mom plays around and reminds us that my grandma still watches us and will come down from heaven to pull our legs at night if we don't listen."
